Structure and working principle

Each filter plate is composed of many fan plates. A group of filter plates is installed on the hollow shaft which has several dividing passage on it. The plates rotate slowly in the slurry tank whose liquid level is auto-controlled, through the action of vacuum pump and distribution head, the round plates carry out vacuum filtration of the material in the filtration area, and discharge the filtrate continuously, the filter cakes are gathered in the plate, when the round plate truns to discharging area, the distribution head with compressed air blows the filter cloth in the back, which together with the scraper discharges the filter cake to the cake hopper, and then the plate enters another working cycle.

8、The requirement of filtration during industrial production can be satisfied by adjusting rotation speed, vacuum degree, time of back blowing, filtration area and filtration medium, etc.

This machine can replace rotary-drum vacuum filter, tilting-pan horizontal vacuum filter, belt type vacuum filter, ring type vacuum filter, especially the plate-and-frame filter press, box type filter that has been widely used in China, it can be applied to processing the sticky solid-liquid mixture and slurry continuously and in large volumn in lime cream, starch, aluminium hydroxide peat coal, sludge, wet method dedusting, paper-making and titanium dioxide industry.
